As said by numerous members in the forum, there has been a recent spike in activity when it comes to new posts, messages and flags being posted. Due to my location I am often asleep when many of you are awake and so I can understand why there has been so many requests for a new moderator.
I have been contemplating this sentiment for a while but now that I have reached a point where I am going to be less active (temporarily), I have decided to discuss with my fellow admins who our newest addition to the mod team will be. The choice was tough but after extensive discussion we have come to a conclusion.
I understand some of you will disagree with the choice but we were very careful and believe that our choice is right. If you question these choices and decide to insult our new mod in any way, I will personally suspend you for 2 weeks. The new mod didn’t choose to become mod. The other admins and I chose them.
On a brighter not, if you do have legitimate questions feel free to dm me. and I will try my best to give you a response that answers it in the best way.

To tell you the truth, I am slightly disappointed that I am not a mod, but I trust the admins and their decisions, and I know that AA is the best out of all the candidates (including myself), and I know that he will do a good job in bringing peace and order to the forum and making it a civil, safe, and enjoyable community.
