A good scenario would be if you see a chronic amount of flags from west europe such as Ireland, UK, Germany on a big front lawn/house/any part of living property then it’s most likely USA.
If it’s subtle or the house/apartment/etc architecture isn’t found in US then it’s probably not from USA.
