Hello everyone! My laptop is managed by my school, so an error message keeps popping up when I try to create an account with google. Is there any way I can create an account with just my email?

Not at the moment, but I believe it’s in the works.

i did it with my school email and my school what i do so i worked me so idk but if you have a phone numder i think it works too

Unfortunately, Google sign-in is the main way to create an account right now, and it does work with some school-managed Google accounts, but most school setups block third-party sign-ins, so it’s basically hit or miss.
We’re aware this is a pain point and are working on adding regular email login as an option. The reason it’s not available yet is that we need to build out proper safeguards first — open email registration makes it way too easy for people to create throwaway accounts for spamming and cheating in ranked modes. We want to get it right before rolling it out.
In the meantime, if you have access to a personal Google account on your phone or a non-school device, that’s probably your best bet for getting set up.
