well first you wanna do is short verison: tell everyone your gonna rebrand a forum and delete some things with it making them all mad cause of the memory and hard work.

or two long verison do what this topic did.Sunsetting iogames.forum

okay I’ma be honest.

I literally done waiting. I waited waited and waited. but all I got for waiting was GOD DANG MORE NEGATIVE STUFF! not from you guys but from the internet these people are filping crazy. and they need a life. and I wished things were never posted or seen.

we don’t really deserve the internet.

but that just encouraging me to lose hope in the forum.

TLDR: Rebrand makes the most sense numbers-wise. Can’t expect him to bend over backwards for a dying forum. Change is necessary, just his timeline was horrendously wrong.

Yeah, wasn’t done as well as it could’ve been, but you can’t expect everything to go 100% to plan. Fairly dumb and poorly executed, yes. There wasn’t a terribly large user base to begin with though and the rebrand would bring in plenty of new users.

Thinking more cynically, he gains a lot more from actually doing the rebrand than keeping things as they were. Even if the current user base suddenly stopped posting, bringing in the user base from worldguessr will make up for it regardless of whenever he does it.

What game are you talking about, realmz? Also what drama?

Player base wise, worldguessr clears SB. You can’t expect a developer to not focus on their more successful game. As to the success of the forum after the rebrand is completed, only time will tell.

I think focusing on his education is a no-brainer. You actually expect him to flunk out of school just for this forum?

Is that so bad? He made the forum and he can choose what he wants to do with it. I don’t think anyone particularly would like the forum to die but it is such a small thing in reality.

I just went on at 8:15 pm est (Almost 5 and a half hours after the school day) and there’s 1.5k people playing. In school it peaks at around 10k while Swordbattle peaks at around 20-30 during the school day

And he really doesn’t have any other games to my knowledge that work and have a steady playerbase

and carball was a new game and literally had nothing so we cant even count it
and didnt futurepear also work on carball

The forum’s activity decreased significantly before the rebrand. That is why gautam did the rebrand and it killed the community.
