Why is the middle just plain black? Wouldn’t it make more sense for it to have a little bit of light that slowly turns to dark?

Okay the skin how it is already is the best one compared to the flipped ones but the flipped sword looks better ingame than the normal one

The skin how it is now is probably gonna be the final version because to do stuff like this I’d need to remake the whole thing and I’ve already spent enough time on this
