Good afternoon chess players in this blog im going to explain why its imperative to analize a game.
so after playing a game it gives your the option to analyze the game but why do you want to do this.
Analzysig games allows you to go through each moves that was played both by you and your opponent and see what blunders were made as well as which move was a missed win or a exlent move or a mistake etc.
What is the point of doing this?
doing this allows you to realize hey i played g4 and now i see its a blunder i should have instead played Bxd5# and could have ended the game there.
so you analizying it lets you see that missed win and know for next time that you need to take it more slowly in order to prevent the same mistake next time.
different types of ways your move can be classified and what each one means:
blunder: this is a move that you played and it was bad you just did something that might have resulted in you loosing you piece or just changed the entire projection of where the game could have went.
mistake: this move wasn’t the best move it’s not really benefiting your but doesn’t change the game much.
good: this move wasn’t the ultimate solution to what you should have played you captured a piece or moved into a spot that can later help you gain material
inaccuracy: this move is similar to the mistake only it could have been a good move, but you played it inaccurately like at the wrong time or too late.
brilliant: Wow this move is really good it benefited the game a lot it changed how the game could play out.
great move: this move changed the games playout, or you captured a piece that just foiled a plan for your opponent.
excellent: wow this move is as good as it gets your limited to a small number of moves that benefit you and just played one of them.
Best move: this was the best move of all moves you could have done this was the best one you can do.
Best move (forced): this doesn’t happen a lot but this does happen after you’ve been forced to do a move and it was the best move anyways.
Alternative similar to the best move this move is if you couldn’t do the best move you were able to do this.
missed win: you could have done a move that allowed you to win but instead you played a different one.
Book move: these are usually at the first few moves these moves are openings that are known like the reti or the queens gambit.
