Check environment for recognisable trees such as eucalyptus
Check architecture style
Look for national flags
Check language of name on road before you
Check language of street signs, shop adverts and billboards
Check those adverts and billboards for email or website addresses. Example: .au = Australia; .mx = Mexico; .fr = France
For state and city/town/village names, check police/fire/hospitals, gas stations, schools, courthouses, etc.
Check race of people. Majority Black = African country; tanned skin = Southern Europe, South America; brown skin with black hair = East Asia
Check clothing of people: style, colour/s, football shirts

My strategy is all about the language lol if I see a flag I can recognize it too tho the The problem with it is that a lot of languages look the same

I look for people as even tho this is a sensitive subject, their skin color can narrow searches. I also look for language (mostly on signs) or landmarks. another thing I look for is the type of enviorment as it also narrows down the searches. also look for cars as some models are made in specific countries

There’s a wiki on how to be good and also a Wikipedia article on street signs of the world and I’ve been trying to memorize them but there’s just so many
