WELCOME TO NATION SIMULATOR!!!

INTRO:
Nation Simulator is a new simulation game I have designed.
Players will rule separate nations, and govern their citizens.
You will have to make careful decisions to keep your nation on top.
Do you have what it takes to become the strongest in the world, or will your nation be lost to history…?

Overview:
Each nation starts with 1,000 citizens.
You all will have access to the same resources.

How to Join:

Joining is a simple process.
Below is a list of simple steps:

  1. Choose a name for your nation. You can choose the name of a real-life empire like Rome, or make up your own. Completely up to you!
  2. Design your government; don’t say something like “A MONARCHY” or “A republic”. You will need to describe the system step by step (see the example).
  3. Remember to ping me! Don’t forget, because I might miss your nation.

Provecta
The Government has 2 parts. The Senate, and the Admiral. The Senate has a total of 11 members. The Admiral has total control of Provecta, but the Senate can overpower them if they all agree. Each senator has 1 unit of power, while the Admiral has 10. The Senate’s total of 11 overpowers the Admiral’s 10.

(P.S. In this example, the player would not control the Senate, I would.)

There is no limit to when you can join, but joining earlier gives you a better chance of being stronger.

You can join again if your nation falls, but there is a cooldown of 2 months.

Playing The Game:

To do something in the game, you can make a post on the official game saying what you want to do (you can do almost anything, as long as it’s possible for your nation.) Or, you could DM/PM me if you don’t want to reveal your plans.

There is no winning in the game, just enjoy playing with other forum members.

Mordor
The Government will have a dictator. The dictator has full control of all of Mordor. Mordor will be divided into smaller regions with a local ruler who takes orders from the dictator. The smaller regions have different cultures and military units and variable levels of technological advancements. Mordor will be more advanced than the smaller regions. Also, some of the smaller region could have fragile alliances.
(The smaller regions could range from a group of nomadic tribes who favor chariot riders and horsemen and still use bronze to a kingdom that has access to iron and utilizes war beasts) (P.S You can create the smaller regions and their numbers if you want and ask me if you want more details)

but everyone starts with basically nothing, just people and some land
so we can do this idea, but the regions would be less advanced

I have question. Does the nation simulator have different terrains and biomes? If so, can I start in a volcanic region?

to keep it balanced, everyone spawns in the same biome and has the same natural resources

im probably going to wait a few days before making the actual gameboard, for more people to join. would be fun that way.

Braford
The King rules over all the people, including 7 government officials that rule smaller parts of the nation. Each small group has their own military but most are not very large. Each government official can do whatever they want with their military as long as the king agrees.

The Republic of Kamphy

The Republic of Kamphy has one singular leader, me, ruling over it. Aside from that, the rest of the government is ruled democratically. Each of Kamphy’s 5 regions has their own democratically elected governor. There are two armies, one that is solely loyal to myself, and the other is a smaller militia that serves to counter-act terrorism and is loyal to the people. All politicians must serve time as a soldier in the military before given any power.

Kamphy has a Nordic model of economics. While there is a free market, there are plenty of social policies with free healthcare, free education, and generally plenty of welfare. All workers have some sort of power over the company they work at. The rich are taxed far higher than the poor, and becoming ultra-wealthy is virtually impossible without paying out plenty to the people/government. Charities get tax cuts proportional to their benefit.
