I own both of these and the paper mate feels extremely cheap

Are you the stationary reviewer now?! Well anyway I personally think paper-mate is a hit or miss type of brand because while some pens I bought from them are horrible others are actually quite good

well i never had a good papermate pen/pencil they are all s*** (sorry for the profanity)
yeah I have a tiny aluminum mechanical pencil its really cool
the countries with the best stationary is japan and germany, germany makes more premium pens and pencils (although they make affordable models too like the stadler 925 15) and japan makes pens and pencils with features americans never thought could exist
