Still applies once they are informed of this issue. You would want to think of it as being a tourist when you are traveling to a new country. You will follow their policies. An example of this is showing more respect to elders than you normally would. Once you understand that it is the norm to do those things, you have to do them to show respect. If you don’t, that is understandable but that is why we teach subjects to other people that are less aware. Then they will understand what significance it will mean. In this case, it would mean to reconsider the clan name as it represents racism.

The United States’ KKK is the reason why this conversation on this forum exists. It is currently being explained on the topic on why the clan name is being considered as racist to those of colors and probably additional ethnic groups if I am forgetting something. Considering the majority of the player-base is from America, this would still be rather important as it would also potentially affect others.
Caring about fighting against racism or at least being against it is currently one of the biggest events happening which is still going on in the States. This means it is well of course, relevant.
Most likely barely anybody noticed but this is why awareness spreads. Awareness appears because people will understand something is bad once they do realize that it happens. It is a process that takes time.
Almost all of the memebers in the clan are from differnt ethnic groups we are not all white nor are american
