After recent events on the forum, I asked gautam if I could get mod back so I could lend an extra hand whenever the forum’s getting out of control. I’ll be serving as mod for the fairly short amount of time I have left here.

Hello everyone,
Today, I have stepped down as moderator. I’ve given this quite a bit of thought lately, and I want to be able to spend more time locking in on schoolwork/studying (because school has been bullying me). Though I’ve already been inactive in swordbattle, I feel like I will also need to spend a bit less time on the forum for me to be able to really focus in and avoid distractions. Note that this isn’t goodbye (yet. I’m so good at foreshadowing >:DDD) , as I will still be checking in almost every day, but just not staying on for long periods of time.
With that said, I believe that I won’t be as suitable as moderator if I’m not able to commit as much time here. So I decided that I would like to have someone that the community can rely on to take my place as moderator, someone who I chose to be my successor a long time ago.
Please welcome @Wasd as the forum’s newest moderator 
To wrap up this post, I would like to thank this whole community for all their support and help during my time as moderator, especially all my fellow mods who showed me the ropes when I first started out.
I’m truly grateful to have had the opportunity to serve as a mod here, and I couldn’t have done it if not for you guys.
