i would assume like dnds with status affects like wither pois bleeding healing and you jus roll a dice to see how effective an attack is

Not really, maybe use the rivalries between races and make a scenario with a big war or something and the characters participate however they want, idk. Also if I fill out the race thing and you approve it can I switch characters or do I gotta die first

this is legit dnd. Players have more freedom? dnd is as free as it gets.
in DND, the player tells the dungeon master what they will do, then a dice is rolled to see if it happens well (nat 20 is best) or they fail terribly (0). DND doesn’t have to have parties. This is just DND without dice.
i would assume like a Loose storyline that doesnt have to be followed but theres rewards and it can be completed mutiple times not just once

also make it so that if 3 if you chars die you are perma dead till rpg simulator 2 is dropped
i always felt it was obvious it took heavy inspo from dnd, no? and even so ion think its allat bad to use dnd as a start point
