so, a couple weeks ago I applied for HVTSP (online Harvard Summer Program) and I mentioned it to yall, unfortunately the post is now closed so I can’t reply there. If I could, I’d respond to @AAProdsYT question at I just applied to HVTSP!! (Harvard Summer Program) - #30 by AAProdsYT.
So, I was invited to participate in a virtual interview at April 8th! This means I passed the first stage of admissions.
HVTSP has two stages of admissions, if you pass the first stage you move onto the next. The first stage is a regular application, it’s just a couple essays & questions about yourself. The second stage is what they call a virtual interview, if you pass the virtual interview, you are accepted into the program.
The virtual interview isn’t live, they ask you 3 questions on their site & you have to record a 2 min response to each question, you can prepare a script and/or re-record as many times as you like. They gave me 6 days to send them the recordings.
Anyway, I was invited to the virtual interview (meaning I passed the first stage!) on April 8th, I submitted my recordings on April 13th. I haven’t yet been given my acceptance/rejection letter yet, I was told it might take 1-2 weeks, with the decision deadline being on the 30th of April.
