Webosu tips

1- hate waiting for your favourite beatmaps to download every time? While you can’t entirely avoid it, you can make it less annoying by downloading multiple maps at the same time. And since they keep downloading while you’re playing, you can preload a couple of your favourite maps and play them all however many times you like. Just remember: reloading the page in any way resets the download. (There is a planned update to store the beatmaps in local storage temporarily to remove the need for a download.)

2- Instead of clicking with your mouse, it is well known in the osu! community to use the Z and X keys. What is commonly done is they use either Z or X (sometimes both in fast maps) to “click”, while using the mouse only to aim, which is very useful for your aiming, speed, and rhythm.

3- For those out there that own drawing tablets, you can use said tablets in order to aim, instead of the mouse. Most osu! players use tablets to avoid a common phemonenon called mouse drift, in which during a hard and long map with few breaks, your mouse slowly “drifts” to a side, and becomes less comfortable to use. And for small mousepads, it can reach the edge. Tablets prevent this.
