Where to plugin SATA cable from Corsair iCUE 4000x Case


Building a pc. Does anyone know what these cables are and where they go on my motherboard?

Motherboard is MSI Z790 Edge Wifi

Those are called SATA cables. They are for powering hard drives, solid state drives, and other things.

Found this Reddit thread that has the same question as mine. Like I said I plugged in the SATA to the power supply, not sure about the short one but will keep looking

As i said above, its a case to usb connector. You plug the small one into the motherboard in USB3.1 (or any tbh) header. Usually located at bottom of motherboard.

Gotcha, in my MSI Z790 it’s supposed to plug in to JUSB4. It didn’t fit the last time I tried that, will try again.
