It has been about 5 months after the announcement of the rebrand but this forum never got one yet. Many people claim that Gautamโs hindsight killed this community but I think differently. This community was already dying even before the rebrand. This was just the catalyst.
Before the rebrand, the Realmz community was in shambles. Clans fought in the forum for dominance of a dead game. Soon 7clappz, the notorious toxic troller and teamer was banned. And it caused many of the OGs to leave. I hate to admit it but his banning did kill the community. Even though he was hated by many, he was skilled and a central part of the community. After that people began arguing about which game was better.
I am not sure about what exactly happened to the Swordbattle community and Chill Corner but I could see the number of new topics and posts were declining. I do not know if it was temporary or permanent but Gautam thought that was a serious problem. He did all he could do. But even he was not able to hold the community. Then he thought of a better plan. He would do the rebrand.
But there were many problems with the rebrand. People disliked the idea and the title caused some people to leave. Most people went to the discord communities. It did make the forum active for a bit. But as well all know, Gautam was lazy and missed the opportunity of the perfect time for the rebrand.
Its an result of gautams poor choices and wording, he couldve made things sound different but people took it as forum being ended. of course, there are other factors like how the io game genre is declining once again and how theres no new content on SB and realmz. Its just not fun anymore after most of the community quit or moved on. everything eventually becomes boring and with all of these things it just got even worse. Of course, theres still hope and people who still care for this place even after the creators have abandoned us
Itโs basically garaunteed dead if we donโt get a steady flow of new members also what about incentivizing joining the forum for sb players maybe a forum exclusive skin like what the kour devs did ?
